Hem each fabric panel and stitch the pieces together to ensure stronger, more durable seams.
It is difficult to establish a precise correlation between the light fastness of printed fabrics and their actual durability. Various factors in addition to light exposure—such as sunlight intensity and humidity—can affect the print over time. The table below provides an approximate guide to the relationship between the light fastness rating (Blue Wool Scale) and the expected print durability:
Note: For Blue Wool Scale ratings above Grade 5, if the colour change falls between two adjacent grades, both grades are indicated (e.g. 5–6). If the colour darkens during testing, the letter "N" is added to the rating.
